Saturday Supper

I love soup....but Pappy....not so much!!!

And......I rarely cook just for myself.

But.....it's been soooo cold around these here parts....and I've had such a craving for soup lately....
I made my very own.

Here's my super simple recipe!!!

1 can of Great Northern Beans
1 can of garlic, oregano, basil tomatoes
(these tomatoes are W-O-N-D-E-R-F-L)
1 can of chicken broth
1/2 bag of frozen veggies
Seasonings of your choice - I used some Italian seasoning and a bit of sea salt....with a sprinkle of black pepper!!
Mix all together....bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer until the veggies get tender!!!

So yummy on cold winter days!!!

What's your favorite meal when it's cold and dreary outside?!?!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  5. That sounds so yummy! I'm a soup lover, too. ;-) We just made some Fish Chowder the other day from a recipe that comes from a favorite restaurant of ours. That was fun! Unfortunately, hubby wasn't feeling great, so he only got about a spoonful. Here's hoping he likes it the next time around! Have a wonderful weekend.
