Out of the mouths of babes

I've shared with you all many times the love we have for our GRANDsons!  They can say things that would have absolutely no impact on anybody but their Pappy and Nannie....just like it is with all of us about thinking our children/GRANDchildren are the greatest!!!  But....in the past few months....some of the things out of their precious little mouths have had a tremendous impact on my heart.  They both already know that there is power in prayer.  Their Momma and Daddy pray with them before they eat and at bedtime.  They know to pray when somebody is sick, or has a problem.  The oldest told me a few weeks ago that he had been praying for "Pappy's job".  Twice recently, we've either saw an ambulance, or heard sirens and the oldest has said "Nannie, we need to pray"....so that's what we do.  As Jess took the youngest for a doctor's appointment and I went to the car to tell him bye....he spoke up with his precious 3-year old voice and said "Nannie, pray for me".  When Jess called later I could hear him asking in the background, "did Nannie pray for me?"  While looking at the newspaper one day, there was a picture of a house destroyed by a tornado on the front page....and again, the 3 year old, said "we need to pray for them".

Please know that it's never too early to let your children.....GRANDchildren.....know what power there is in prayer!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. That's a blessing. The scriptures says that we are to train them in the way that they should go and when they get older, they will not depart from that training.
