Square Pegs!!!

Do you ever feel kinda like that picture....like you're the "square" trying to fit into a world of well rounded people.  The thing is....most people....even those who have themselves convinced that they have it all together....really don't!!!

I've shared that God has truly been showing me some things about myself in the last 6 months, or so.  For one thing....sometimes what we think is our "heart's desire"....isn't really what He wants for us at all.  Since He made my heart....well, I figure He knows better what my desire should be than I do....and I might not even realize it until He reveals it to me!!!  It's just up to me to step out on faith and trust Him!!!

Also....even though sometimes we feel like the "odd man out" because we know in our spirit that we don't need to be involved in certain situations....it doesn't mean that we're the "square peg".   Even though I don't always understand why He asks certain things of me....and I know others don't understand my actions and I'm often ridiculed....well, that's okay....'cause He's got it all under control!!!

Romans 12:2
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Happy Thursday, Sweet Reader!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Sounds like you've got a pretty good handle on the "heart's desire" subject!

Trusting Jesus - not getting our "cues" from others - but Christ alone....that is so crucial, isn't it?

  3. That is a great post, we never know what God has planned but He does and as u said he made our heart so he knows our desires, I say "Let go and Let God"

I feel like the odd man out in many situations, especially when it comes to TV shows and so forth since we do not have cable and cannot relate to what others are talking about.
