Bloom where you're planted!

As I pulled out of the basement one morning this week, I saw some impatiens blooming and I knew I hadn't planted any in that particular spot.  I parked the car and got out and realized they were from the boxes on the front porch that I had cleaned  out and thrown what I thought were dead flowers into the "burn spot".  As I got back into the car.....the thought came to mind....
"bloom where you're planted"!!

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.  They are like trees planted along a riverbank,  with roots that reach deep into the water.   Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.  Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

HOPE you have a Thursday full of blessings, Sweet Reader!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  3. That is awesome! Truly needed that this morning. I keep thinking I need to do 'something' when i don't realize I *AM* doing something. I'm doing exactly what God wants me to do (a wife, a school teacher, a wife, a sunday school teacher, a blogger). I'm going to bloom where God put me--- and not feel bad that it's not a botanical garden :)

  8. Those impatiens had it right! We need to bloom where we're planted. We may not necessarily like where we are or the situation we are in, but we can still rejoice each day for we have a Savior who is always by our side!

  10. Blooming in the spot reserved to burn the trash! That is what we must do when we find ourselves in a place that we did not expect to be. How sweet this post is to remind us that we can bloom no matter where.
