God's Promises!!!

 Mom and me - 1955

I've never seen my Mom this sick....and it's a bit overwhelming.  As I left the hospital tonight and drove across a little hill, straight ahead of me in the sky was one of the widest rainbows I've ever seen....it remained in the sky for several miles out the interstate on the way home.  I couldn't help but smile and realize that God placed it there just for me (and probably others, too)....promising that everything is going to be alright....
because HE has a plan!!!

 Jeremiah 29:11-13
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord.
“They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
In those days when you pray, I will listen.
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

Thank you, Sweet Readers,
from the bottom of my heart for your thoughts and prayers!
Please keep 'em comin'!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  3. HI Deb,

Those rainbows have appeared for me sometimes too. The verse you quote from Jeremiah is one of my favourites, one I often refer to, have often been given and have given to others.

  4. I think the Lord put ( is right word ?) your attention to His covenant. Whatever happens, His love does not fail and He carries us when we fall or be appalled by the things we go through. Love from me.

  6. I am glad she is getting better. It hurts when they get sick and there seems to be nothing you can do to help her. We're all praying.
