Chats on the Farmhouse Porch!!!

What's you favorite kind of salad?
Let's see....I love my Mom's "tater" salad!
My favorite salad from a restaurant would have to be the grilled chicken salad from Texas Roadhouse....just had one of those today!!!
Yum, yum!!!

How old were you when you learned to cook?
I just turned 57 in January, so is it too late to start?!?!?

What's your favorite kind of store?
(grocery, garden, department, cooking, bookstore, etc)
It kinda depends on what's on my mind at the time.
I love craft stores....especially with rows and rows of yarn!!!
Wonder why?!?!?

If you could have lived during another time in history, what time would that have been?
Oh, that is so easy....it would have to be when Jesus walked the earth.  I would have loved to be one of His close followers and sat at his feet listening to His voice and hear Him teaching.
I would need to by-pass the crucifixion, though....don't think I could have handled that part, even though it was for me....and gone straight to the resurrection!!!

I'm looking forward to_______________.
Another easy answer....or answers!!!
First of all is the upcoming 11 day revival we're preparing for at our church.  We're having days of fasting and prayer and all day/night prayer vigils.
I just know it's gonna be AWESOME and we're so excited about it!!!
Secondly is when our new GRANDbabies come home to us from Uganda!!!
We don't know the day yet, but our daughter and son-in-law keep moving up on the list, so it's getting closer and closer!!!

Thanks, Ms. Patrice for letting me join!!!

Blessings,

Deb

  2. Grandbabies coming? More than one? What a blessing! I bet your daughter and her husband are beside themselves... waiting is so hard!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my chat. Wouldn't it be fun to live in the Biltmore? I hear they had lavish parties and house guests would come and spend days or weeks there. You are more than welcome to come along!

  5. I like craft stores too, but I always seem to think I will have more time on my hands than I ever have. The new grandbabies will be so special. Have a great week.
