Today's the BIG Day!!!

We are all sooooo excited to see what God has in store today. I really believe in my heart of hearts that He is going to show up and bless this fundraiser in a might way....that ONLY HE can do....and please know that HE will be given all the glory....not one itty-bitty bit on any of our parts....just obedience to HIS call by our son-in-law and daughter!!!

Last night I sliced brownies 'till I don't even think I could eat one...
....and if you know me and my chocolate addiction, that's saying A LOT!!!
But, a lady graciously donated 6 huge pans of brownies....homemade!!!

EVERYTHING has been donated....the meat, beans, rolls, hot dogs, buns, chips, drinks....gift cards to WalMart and Food City....it's AMAZING how our GOD has shown up already.  Nobody can say that HE isn't in this adoption journey.
Jess is keeping a journal to share with the GRANDchildren when they are older!!!

Here are a few pics taken last night....

Cake donated for auction by Giving Him Glory Cakes
This is a replica of the little boy on the adoption tee-shirts.
They are awesome....the wife makes the cakes and the hubby decorates them!
Hmmm....an idea for a business for me and Pappy!!!
;-)
Wise Old Owl Designs crocheted items....
....31 Products donated by Ms. Beth Underwood....
....necklaces made by the Ugandan women for sale....
....and of course tee-shirts!!!

And, of course....the bounce houses.
There are only two showing....the one in the top of the photo stretches almost the entire width of the gym....it's AWESOME.  There are two others that aren't shown!

(hi, See-Saw!!!)

If you're local....I would absolutely love to see your sweet face show up!
As you know....if you know me....I'm a hugger!!!
;-)

Happy, happy Saturday, Sweet Reader!!!

Gotta run....duty calls!!!
I'll give an update next week!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  3. What an exciting day for your family! (I know the costs of adoption.) One of our daughters has adopted two children from the U.S., and our son has a daughter from Ethiopia. Much joy over these in OUR family. I know it will be the same will be yours.♥
