Easter Lunch!!!

Don't you just love getting neat ideas from Pinterest?
I recently saw a recipe for banana pudding, and thought it would be a great dessert for our Easter lunch tomorrow....so....I purchased up all the ingredients and whipped it up in a jiffy....and couldn't resist licking the bowl....yummy....can't wait to get a real scoop tomorrow with nanners and nilla wafers!!!

You can find the recipe here!!!
Oh....and notice the serving dish I put it in.
I've had that for almost 35 years....got it as a wedding shower gift!!!

If you know me well, then you'll understand why I showed dessert first!!!

Anyway....here's another cute idea from Pinterest.  For many....many....years, I've taken deviled eggs to any family get-to-gether we have with Pappy's family.  Since my mother-in-law is no longer with us, we don't get together like we used to....but our oldest GRANDson 's deviled eggs....and you know how we are with our GRAND babies?!?!?
I made these just for him and his Momma for our lunch tomorrow.
Notice how they look a bit different than normal.....

After I cut the eggs in half and removed the yolk....I let them soak in cups filled with water and a few drops of food coloring....so I wound up with pink, blue, green and yellow!!!

And, speaking of my precious mother-in-law....
....she got me the bunnies sitting on the table!!!

So....what about y'all?
Whatcha having for dessert tomorrow?!?!?

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  3. How fun I have that same dish! For dessert I have made the pineapple coconut cake with Coco Lopez milk. Prizes for our little ones egg hunt are the "Cheetos carrots" I made, they turned out so cute! Happy a special Easter Sunday.
