Take a deep breath.....

....and exhale!!!

I think I shared with y'all some time back about how when I get in a stressful situation, I'll do a little exercise of taking deep breaths and as I inhale I'll say,
 "breathe in Jesus"....
.....and when I exhale, I'll say ,
"breathe out Deb".

Yesterday....as I lay in the middle of our living room floor....I got forgiveness on my mind....actually it would be more accurate to say "un" forgiveness!!!  I used the same concept of taking deep breaths in and out....except as I breathed in I would think of certain people who had wronged me (in my opinion), or had hurt my feelings (probably unintentionally) in some way and I still had a bit of an attitude toward that person.  As I breathed out, I would forgive that person.   When I got up off the floor, I felt such a sense of relief.

A bit later on, I just had to have a piece of chocolate....and what better than Dove Dark Chocolate.....

If you're familiar with Dove chocolates, you know that inside each wrapper is a little love note from Dove.

Here's what mine said.....

Don't you just love it when God speaks to you in such a personal way....
....especially thru a piece of chocolate?!?!?
He's good like that!!!
Hope you have a wonderful Monday, Sweet Reader!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  6. Thank you for sharing your experience at "Tell Me a Story." How precious that you would receive a love note from God wrapped in chocolate! Sunday at church, our pastor asked us to take a deep breath and then let it out as we went to prayer. It was amazine.
