Still waiting.....

My sweet blogging friend,
Ms. Mary at Visits with Mary posted this on Facebook yesterday and I just had to share it....'cause I keep coming upon things that talk about waiting.  It spoke to my heart because Pappy and I have been doing a lot of waiting the last six months.  We've asked for wisdom and discernment in making the right decisions....about his job situation and also about my Mom's health.    Often when I lay down at night and get still, I can feel Him speaking to me in my Spirit....and a few weeks ago I felt Him tell me,
 "it won't be long".
Now, I don't know if that means in my finite mine of what "not long" means....or in HIS....but I've felt all along that God has something good in store for us!!!

And, if it's HIS will....and in HIS time....I just know it's gonna be worth the wait!!!

So....in the meantime....
Psalm 27:14
Wait patiently for the Lord.
    Be brave and courageous.
Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

Hope your Tuesday is blessed, Sweet Reader!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. I am reminded of Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

He doesn't say that today or tomorrow is the day. We must just continue to move forward and follow his lead.

    Thanks for the lift today!

  4. Patience and waiting are some of my hardest things to do. I guess that's why I was pregnant 11 times...ha!

Sweet Deb, sounds like the Lord is telling you some comforting things in the still of the night. I know he has some amazing things in store for you, cause He doesn't lead us astray! HUGS

  5. Visiting your blog for the first time today. I loved the wisdom in your words. Waiting is so hard sometimes, but as long as God is directing out steps it's worth it in the end.

    Blessings~
