Chats On the Farmhouse Porch!!!

Everyday Ruralty
I sorta feel like I'm on a roll since I've managed to visit with Ms. Patrice for several weeks now!!  Here's what we're talking about this week.....

What's your favorite room in your house?
That would probably be our "sunroom".  It's not because of how it's decorated 'cause it's not really....it's just so light and bright and open and our GRANDsons love it out there!!!

If you could go anywhere on a vacation, all expense paid, where would it be?
Oh, that would be the Holy Land.  That's on my bucket list to someday be privileged to walk where Jesus walked.

Were you a girl scout or in any similar program?
Nope....I led a very sheltered life on so many levels!!!
;-)

What's your favorite frozen treat?
Does a Java Chiller from Sonic Drive-In count?!?!?
They are the best things I've ever tasted!!!

Are you NASCAR or the elderly lady with the pillbox hat when you drive?
Oh, what a funny question!!!
Well....I think it depends on who is in the car with me and how big a hurry I'm in!!!  I haven't driven a lot in the last several months because Pappy usually drives unless I'm driving my Mom's car to take her  to the doctor.  When I'm driving her car, I'm probably the lady with the pillbox hat!!!

Tell Wendell  I would bring him carrots every day next week if I could....looking forward to your "party".  Happy one-year anniversary "Chats on the Farmhouse Porch"!!!

Blessings,

Deb

  1. I love light and bright places. Hubby and #1 daughter went to the Holy Land a few years ago. They loved it- all except the scary cab rides. I can't say that I know what a Java Chiller is. Have a great week!

  3. Another sunroom buddy! If I ever had some extra money (hahaha) I would insulate it and have it heated so I couls use it all 4 seasons. I would even like to sit out there and watch the snow fall.
I've never had a Java Chiller but it sounds wonderful.
Have a great week and thanks for your visit to my blog.

  4. Java Chiller sounds yummy! I may have to have one of my Weight Watcher's Latte ice cream bars later. Me and my perpetual dieting, right? lol!

  5. I would love to have a sun porch- then again, I'd probably never get anything done besides enjoying myself out there. LOL

  6. Oh, the Holy Land would be amazing to visit. I have a number of friends who went a couple of years ago, and it really was an experience to never, ever forget.
