A Hedge of Protection!!

I was talking to a neighbor on Saturday and he told me that there was a lady robbed at gunpoint near our house.  A home down the road from my Mom was broken into a couple of weeks ago and so was a house down the hill from us, with some expensive items stolen.  As we talked about how bad things were getting even in our own little community, I told him that I often prayed for God to put a hedge of protection around our home and our vehicles.  Pappy and I also ask God to protect our health and our finances and our family....
....and even our appliances!!!

How 'bout you?
Do you feel the need to pray for things like that, too?

Job 1:10
Hast not thou made an hedge about him,
and about his house,
and about all that he hath on every side?

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Yes mam you can bet on me Praying a hedge of protection around lots of things! I am always praying a hedge of protection around my marriage, health, children, home and etc. Got to share this with you Deb as you will get a kick out of it. One of the ladies at church that I am friends with daughter was going to her first prom. So I call her daughter on the phone to ask her if I could pray with her on the phone before she ventured out to her very first prom and of course being the young christian girl that she is she said yes, please. So, I prayed for her and prayed a hedge of protection around her mind, body, and etc. Then I prayed a hedge of thorns around her so that if sin even entered her mind that she would be pricked by the Holy Spirit. When she hung up the phone with me she told her mom, "Miss Cindy has just scared me to death with this THORN stuff!!!! LOL! Had to share that. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  2. My friend did that once when their truck was stolen. She asked to have a bubble around the truck. They found it the next day and the truck was in perfect condition.

  3. Yes Mam! I prayed for a hedge of protection around my son-in-law the whole time he was on active duty in the Army serving in Iraq! Praise God!!!! He brought him home to us unharmed both times! Also, I pray for that hedge of protection around my family. I can't always be with them, but I know God can!
    God Bless! :-)

  6. Most certainly. About 6 years ago there were terrible grassfires in Texas, and we found out my grandmother had been killed in them. We prayed that God would put a bubble around her house, so we didn't lose that, too. Later, we saw aerial photos of her home, and would you believe there was a complete circle around her house that remained unburned!? The land all around it was burned, but not the circle around her home!
