Fantastic Friday - Edition #33!!!

Every single day this week, I've been a day ahead.
Like all day Monday, I thought it was Tuesday.
I have to take my Mom to the doctor today, and I told her Wednesday what time we would leave "in the morning".  I think I confused her, too!!!
Could it have something to do with the time change?!?
Or....just old age?!?!?
Yeah, that's what I thought, too....it's the time change!!!

Speaking of "time", can you believe that THANKSgiving is less than two weeks away?  Where has Twenty-Twelve gone?  When I was a kid, it seemed like it took forever for something to take place, like the end of the school year, or CHRISTmas....and now that I'm old....um, older....time simply flies!!!

And....speaking of THANKSgiving....what are your plans?
Do you have a big day planned with family?
What do y'all eat....turkey and all the trimmings, or ham, or maybe even something else?
What are some of your side dishes?
What's your favorite dessert?

And, do y'all participate in Black Friday sales?
Do you get up bright and early and wait for a particular store to open,
or do you wait and go out later in the day?
(we've done both over the years)
Do you get in on any of the Cyber Monday sales?

Inquiring minds want to know!!!

Leave a comment with your answers....
....and don't forget to link up your blog below!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love...and with mine!!!

Blessings,
Deb

  1. Turkey, what is that:-)We don't eat that. No, in the Netherlands Thanksgivingday is not a day we eat something specials. But with in my mind the Thanksgivingmeals of the Americans, I have make something extra: Parisian potatoes, mixed salad, steamed drumsticks, chicken nuggets, pickles, cucumber, apple sauce and for dessert a magnum. :-)

  2. Good Morning Dear Friend, can you believe our Thanksgiving plans are not yet decided? Most years we are together, this year Tracey is going to be with the in-laws, Peggy has plans with the church and I'm still waiting to know what Tammy's family has planned. Oh, and Rusty is working on Thanksgiving. If all else fails Dean and I will take Mother to Luby's!!! I've always told the girls Thanksgiving is flexible, but WE WILL be together on Christmas and we always are!! {{hugs}} - have a wonderful day!
