Prayer Hugs!!

I talked to a friend yesterday afternoon.
Her husband has cancer.
He has only a very short time left on this earth before Jesus brings him home to spend eternity with HIM.
I used to be really hesitant to call people not knowing what to say at times like this.
As I've gotten older, I've come to realize that often just hearing some one's voice is enough....
....and a simple "I'm sorry"....
....and to let them know you're praying for them.

My friend and I cried together on the phone,
understanding each other's hearts from across the distance.

Romans 8:26
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.
For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for.
But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine, too!!!

Blessings,
Deb

Edited to add:
Jesus took my friend's husband home around 10:00 last night.
Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers.

  5. Sweet Deb, sounds like you were in the right place at the right time. This will be a difficult holiday for her. Sending hugs and prayers. Also praying you will be guided in helping her through this season.
