Getting ready for CHRISTmas.....

This CHRISTmas is going to be so much different than last year.
We celebrated early  'cause our daughter, "son" and grand-boys left for Uganda on the 12th of December to bring home Miss Ruby Kate.  I didn't have a lot of spirit by the time CHRISTmas Eve and Day rolled around 'cause I was missing all four of our "kids" s0 much!!!

This year, we're celebrating with two new grand's!!!
It's just awesome how God works!!!
So.....I've spent a lot of time lately.....
almost all day today.....
sewing!!!
I'm making several CHRISTmas gifts.
In years past, I've not gotten this much accomplished before THANKSgiving!!!
Pappy and I went shopping this past Saturday and we picked up several stocking stuffers for our grand's.
We buy them ornaments every year and we've already bought those, too!!!

So, how 'bout y'all?
Have you started your shopping?
Are you buying gifts, or will you be giving some handmade items?
Have you decorated yet?
The extent of my decorating so far was putting our "Keep Christ in Christmasplaque on top of the armoire in the living room!!!

And....speaking of gifts.....

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

  4. Debbie, Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. I am also planning to sew for my grandbabies.. princess costumes, a baby's first Christmas dress for River, and flower wall-hangings for their bedroom. I am so looking forward to meditating on God's word this Christmas and am glad you are focused on Him too. Love in Christ, Donna
