Wednesday's Words - Still and Quiet.....

Edited to add this picture that I just opened in an e-mail from (in) courage,
'cause y'all know how much I   confirmations from our precious Lord!
"Stillness isn’t an escape. It’s an entrance, to your innermost self, right where you are today."
" Stillness isn’t the absence of movement.
It’s the presence of God."

The Courage to Be Still - incourage.me

God has been "talking" to me this past week while I was away from the blog.
I felt in my Spirit that He wanted me to  be "quiet" for a bit and let Him speak.
He certainly gave me a lot to "ponder" on!
I'm not sure how much, or how often, I'll be posting,
but the past week just seemed to all come together Monday as I sat in the exam room waiting for my doctor and saw this sign on the wall and knew I had to share it with y'all!

Here are a few more things I found that speak to my heart about being "still and quiet"!

HOPE everybody is enjoying spring in your neck of the woods!

Breathing in Grace,

  1. Enjoyed this so much and the "Courage to be still" is what got me! That is my problem at times....having the COURAGE to be STILL because I know when I am that He will truly speak to my heart. Him speaking to me isn't my problem...my problem is what will He say! Sometimes it entails things I don't want to hear...you know those little whispers to your heart that you know that you know already but you just didn't want to hear them???? Great post today Deb. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

    1. Oh, I know....there are things that He speaks to me that I really don't want to hear! ;-) But, I know He has my best interests at heart and just like a good Father, He has to discipline me!

  2. It was so wonderful to see you in my blog roll this morning, I have missed you. As always your post has touched my heart. It does take courage to be still and listen...just like Cindy said....sometimes we don't want to hear....but we know His way is the right way, whether we understand it or not. ((hugs)) sweet lady...have a great day!! ps...as time goes by I think we do see and understand He was right!!!!

    1. Oh, Ms. Mary.....thank you for ALWAYS being such an awesome encouragement to me! How I wish we lived closer. I think of you as my "big sister"....something I always wished I had. God has blessed me with some great sisters in CHRIST, though! HOPE you know how much you're loved!
