Something we were taught on the weight loss challenge was to recognize triggers to overeat by using the acrostic B.L.A.S.T.....
and, if you've been around this blog very long,
then you know how much I ♥ acrostics!!!
B - Bored
L - Lonely
A - Angry
S - Stressed
T - Tired
You know which one is my worst enemy......
that "T"!
I do more damage to my diet when I'm Tired.
And, being tired can trigger the "A" and the "S".
But, I got to thinking......
the BLAST strategy can be used for much more than trying to live healthier physically.....
it can be applied to our mental and spiritual well-being, too, because how often do we allow those BLASTed thoughts creep into our minds and heart that tend to sabotage us.....
cause us to to not think on the right things.....
to open our mouth and insert foot?
Yep.....
I'm gonna try to use those 5 letters to BLAST off any negative thoughts and actions!!
