{ Friday Foto Friends #22 ]

I think wisteria is one of the most beautiful flowers.
Could it be because of the COLOR?
Yes.....
I think that has a lot to do with it since purple is probably my favorite of all colors.
This vine is almost 15 years old.  Jess bought it for us for our 25th wedding anniversary.  At one time it overtook a small dogwood tree, to the point that it caused the tree to die.  I cut it completely back, ground level, but it came back.  Now it's wound around an old rusty trellis in our front yard and I plan on keeping it trimmed back so it doesn't get out of hand once again.

What's blooming in your yard?

HOPE everybody has a great weekend!

  2. That is beautiful. I love wisteria but have never had in. Thinking about getting some to plant. Does it need full sun or just some sun?
