{ Big girl panties }

We finished up our Armor of God study SONday afternoon.

Ladies.....
if you EVER get the opportunity to do this study, please don't hesitate.  It was probably the best Bible study I've ever done, other than Esther because I loved that one, too.  But, this one really spoke to my heart and my struggles with certain fears in my life.  It helped me to realize more each day the things that are coming from the devil as he tries his dead level best to distract me and get me off track in my thinking and the things that I say and do.  But, most of all it planted more firmly into my mind the power I've been given as a daughter of the King.....the things He gave me when I accepted Him into my heart over 50 years ago!

The leader of our study, my awesome friend, Stephanie, is simply that.....
AWESOME!!!
This woman has endured so very much physically.
She had a kidney transplant about 14 years ago and that kidney has failed and she's back on dialysis 3 times a week.  She has some other struggles in her life, too,  including her husband's health issues.  Prayers for her and her hubby would be greatly appreciated.

Ms. Stephanie also has a HUGE sense of humor and she posted this little sign on our AOG Facebook page.

One of the ladies asked SONday if our  big girl panties are part of our armor.  It was such a funny  comment and brought on some laughs.....
but, if we think about it.....
then, yes, as women our big girl panties should be part of our armor.  Pull those things on and take a stand and give that old devil "what for"!

So.....
girlfriends.....
we've gotta get out there and fight that battle against the "barbs" of the devil every.single.day.  Do not let him defeat us.  Remember this.....
if we weren't trying to live for the Lord, then satan would just leave us alone, so maybe we should consider it a compliment of sorts that he comes at us like he does?!?!?

HOPE everybody has a terrific Tuesday.
I'm off to keep a little rambunctious, mind-of-his own, going on 3 year old.

Heaven help me.....;-)

  4. Well put.

Sunday we sang some songs about putting on our armor for God - Jesus left us physically but never spiritually. We are armed and strong and united.
WE KNOW HOW THIS ENDS, don't we? And we know God wins.

GL with your grand. What a blessing - and keeps you young, eh?

    Love and prayers.
