{ Friday Foto Friends #29 }

I created a new little "button" to share for our Friday Foto Friends.
Feel free to use either one.

I finished up the project I told y'all about last week, so I thought I'd share it with you today.
This was the most challenging crochet project I've every done and I can't see me undertaking another one, so it's truly one-of-a-kind and is now in the hands of our precious daughter.  It was a belated Mother's Day gift for her.....
and she loved it!

It's a little vintage camper!

Here's the front.....

The back.....

The end.....

.
And a couple of views of the inside.....

(Did you notice the little pillow with a "J"?
That was just for our daughter, Jess, but one of our grand-boys said it was his since his middle name is Jackson....
named after Pappy!)

I kinda wish I'd kept track of how many hours I spent working on this....
and sleepless nights.....
LOL

Plus, I only had one injury.....
burnt a blister on my finger hot gluing all the pieces together.
OUCH!!!

If any of you are interested in making a little camper, here's a link to the book on Amazon:
by Kate Bruning

Have tons of fun, but PLEASE take care if you're  traveling or out and about this Memorial Day weekend!
We're headed to the lake for a family reunion cookout.....
so looking forward to that!
But.....
let's not forget those we're truly celebrating.

Ecclesiastes 9:10
Whatever your hand finds to do,
do it with all of your might!

  1. Deb, that is without a doubt one of the cutest things I've ever seen! I love all the little camper trailers ladies have made into 'woman caves,' and your little camper fits right in!! Have a great Memorial Day week-end.

  3. You are so talented and I always love to see what you make. But I think this one takes the blue ribbon. That is so intricate and so detailed. I just love it.
