{ Wednesday's Word - Wallow }

Isn't wallow a funny word?
What do you think of when you hear it?
I picture an animal "wallowing" in the mud.

I woke up with that word on my mind one day last week and realized that's exactly what I've been doing for several weeks.....
wallowing in doubt and mistrust.

So, I made a decision then and there to quit wallowing in the dirty things that happened in 2016 and dragging others into the mud with me and move on with a clean slate and mindset into 2017.

  2. Funny Deb. Soon as I saw the word wallow I thought of a bunch of pigs in the mud. Lord, I have wallowed in self-doubt in some areas in my life in 2016. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  6. I find that word very visual for me as I struggle with fatigue from the radiation last year....wallow on my sofa...or in my mind as I take my eyes off of Jesus. Decided to decree 2017 a year of abundant blessings.....God is good!

  7. I sure can understand what you mean! I've had my time in the pig pen and can wallow with the best of them! This year it will be different for me too! Have a blessed week, my friend.

  8. What a picture this brings to mind! Thank you for this...yes, I know I do tend to wallow in things that I shouldn't...need to get up and get going...God has special plans for us this year...we just need to trust Him to lead us aright. Thank you for this today. No more wallowing!

  9. Since I grew up in pig and corn country, that picture is exactly what I think about when I hear "wallow". On to a bright (clean) new year!
