{ Good Senses }

Laying in bed early one morning this week I thought I heard a noise so I opened my eyes to hear better.  Do you do that, too? Think you can hear better, even in the dark, if you're eyes are wide open.  This got me to thinking about how often I fail to hear the still small voice of the Lord speaking to me because I'm "blinded" by the things going on around me.  I'm letting too many things "of this world" occupy my mind and heart instead of filling myself with "MORE" of Him!  Maybe this is why my blog has been neglected and I've failed to post like I once did.

Hmmmm.....
food for thought!

HOPE everybody has a terrific Thursday!

(Y'all, yes I'm a bit obsessed with these little guys/gals. They're about 11 days old in this foto and oh, what a blessing it's been to watch them hatch and grow in such a short amount of time. God is so good.)

  2. WoW, they've got their feathers!! You're right Deb, we do get 'blinded' by the world around us, but we do hear Him above it all. We know His voice because He is our Father. ((hugs)) dear friend, hope you have a wonderful day.

  6. Oh, these birds are beautiful! I have been reflecting lately on Hearing God's Voice....taking a class on how I hear Him.....putting aside the busyness is not easy, and God is so patient with us.....Good to stop by again and see what is going on in your world...
