{ Tuesday Tidbits }

Hey, Hey!
Thought I'd share a few tidbits of just some random stuff.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Remember I asked Y'all a few weeks ago if you had a solution to fix the problem of not receiving e-mails to moderate blog comments? Some of you were having the same issue. I left the question on a forum and received an e-mail from a sweet lady named Donna who blogs at Romance and mystery...writing my life. Click on the link and leave her some love for the simple fix!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'd like to hug the neck of the person who came up with low splash, scented bleach. It doesn't take much to excite me, does it? Oh, and don't even get me started on magic erasers!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Can I be the only person who likes to mow?
I get so much satisfaction out of seeing a freshly mowed lawn. It's too bad I don't feel the same way about running the vacuum cleaner and a clean house.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The bees FINALLY found our cucumbers and we're getting way more than I can eat, so I'm sharing!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Be careful when you think you're having the worst day ever because if you wait long enough you'll have the worst day ever and wish you could get that first one back! Most things are never really as bad as we play it out in our heads to be.  And, Y'all, we know that's Satan playing with our minds, right?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We're going to encounter people we can't trust.
That's what's happened to Pappy in the "Saga of the She-Shed". I'll try my best to share the entire story when it's all over! Maybe say a little prayer for Pappy, but especially for the "owner" of the building.  Pappy has handled this entire ordeal with so much grace and dignity. He's my hero!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Happiness is.....
a tray full of ice cubes when I open the freezer on the fridge!!!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My sister-in-law sent me a text yesterday asking if I'd seen the Denzel Washington video about putting God first. If you haven't watched it, look it up on YouTube and take about 10 minutes listening to his commencement speech.  It's pretty awesome!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

And.....
speaking of Denzel Washington.....
our daughter thinks Pappy looks like Denzel, even down to the mannerisms. I told his sister and she agreed.
I'll let you be the judge.....

  4. Yes... I can see Denzel in your hubby. I agree with you on splash-less bleach AND the Magic Erasers. I'll have to look for Denzel's graduation speech. Thanks!

  5. I am laughing about mowing Deb. Marty hates it when I try and mow. Years ago...back in my younger days, I hopped on the lawn mower, head phones in ears listening to music and singing right along as I just strolled around on the lawn mower. I was doing to good. Had on a pair of shorts and sleeveless top...I needed some good old fashion vitamin D and afterall, I was in my own yard, right? Well about 30 minutes into the mowing Marty waves for me to stop. He had been weed eating up to that point. I stopped thinking that he was going to tell me what a great job I was doing mowing. I was so proud. Mowing, singing and getting a little sunshine. He says "Cindy, park the lawn mower baby, I will take it from here". Of course I told him "Oh no, I will finish the mowing while you finish the weed eating". He said, "You have rode around for 30 minutes and have not even let the blade down!!!!!! Well, need I say more about the story? LOL! Hugs and blessings to you dear friend.

  6. Wow, I love this...I guess Denzel is your hubby's twin by a different mother or father or both? Interesting! Sorry about the she-shed saga. I do hope it ends up well. Praying for all concerned. Happy to hear the bees found the cucumbers...wish you could send me a few (cucumbers, not bees! LOL) I have a magic eraser in my cupboard...a gift from a friend. I guess I should try it and see what it erases magically! Funny, I'd rather mow grass too!!! I'm not a scented bleach fan, sorry. I tend to stay away from scented stuff cause for some reason it always irritates my senses...I'd rather smell the real bleach! LOL. But, please, no ammonia! Can't stand that smell at all! Have a blessed day. I enjoyed your tidbits. Such fun.
