{ Friday Foto Friends #144 }

A few weeks ago Pappy and I took a back road to our destination and we saw this old barn with a "barn quilt". I'm wanting to paint one for my she-shed and also for another building that belongs to Pappy. He stopped in the middle of the road and let me get this pic.

There are two of these colorful rugs on our front porch and this butterfly must have thought it was a field of flowers.

That's it for today.

HOPE your weekend is great!

  6. The quilt barns are so nice. There are quite a few of them around by me. One just down the road 1/2 mile.

  7. I love the barn picture. Most of the barns I've seen aren't that pretty. I bet the butterfly was thirsty after trying to drink off that quilt!

  8. That butterfly moment is wonderful! Not sure it will come to pass, but I'm hoping to 'adopt' a heirloom quilt of my own, someday.
