Sunday Morning Worship

Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT)
For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.

This is one of Ms. Dawn's favorite hymns. She told me that her favorite hymns are from the 18th and 19th century. She explained so much to me in the e-mail that she sent, things that I didn't know. I truly wish I had more education....Bible-based education...not just reading the Bible...but more about the history that led our country to be what we are today!!! Maybe someday, I can take some non-credit classes. That would be wonderful!!! Does anybody know of any on-line classes available???

Be Thou My Vision
Words: Dallan Forgail (8th Century)

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;T
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

In His Love...and with mine!!!

  1. Debbie,
    You might want to look into Radio Bible Ministry's online courses. I think some are free. They have several of the classes similar to what I took in college like Old Testimate Survey, New Testiment Survey, And Early Church History. Their website is www.christiancourses.com
    They may have what you're looking for...it's a starting place anyway!
