Our Stay-cation!

Remember I told y'all that we've been on "stay-cation" this week....well....I am tee-totally exhausted!!!
Aren't vacations supposed to be for relaxing?!?!
;)
And....it's not even over....I've got something BIG planned for today....something I haven't done....or had done....in about nine years....which involves a bit of pampering....something I'm not used to....at all!!!  If it goes as planned, I'll share that with 'ya next week!!!

Here are just a few highlights of our week....in pics....
We started the week off by heading up to Carver's for lunch last Saturday!!  I love that place!!!
Sunday night our boys "sang" in their little kid's choirs at their church.  Actually....Little Bit sat on his Momma's lap in the floor....and Big Brother kept his hands in his mouth and his head down the entire time....but they were still the cutest kids up there!!!

Mamaw had her NINETY-NINTH birthday!!!
She was very interested in something on TV!
Remember my purple breadbox...well, this is gonna be turned into something that will tie in the den and kitchen colors!!!
We met with a courier on Monday morning and picked this up from a friend....I'm excited and nervous at the same time to create this for her!!!
Project pics to come!!!
So sorry for the pic quality....but I found this great hummingbird feeder at Fred's (love that place)....and got it because I've seen a little hummer at my computer window....the only problem now....is that the females fight each other.  I put my other feeder on the back window, hoping to separate 'em!!!
Why can't we all just get along?
;)
A car in the parking lot at Home Depot....it was absolutely covered in words....front back and sides....with free DVD's  for the taking on the back!!
(p.s...we didn't take them...;)
Sneak peak of something I've been working on this week....hopefully I can show y'all the finished product next week!!!
I was standing in the driveway one day waiting on Pappy to bring the car up from the basement....and got this pic of a butterfly that kept flying around me!!!
(yes....I have my P&S with me most of the time....because of our boys)
This is not my dog....I repeat....she IS NOT my dog....and it's a good thing....because....I didn't see her for almost 2 weeks....and it really upset me.  I happened to look out the front window on Thursday morning....and there she was in the yard.  I opened the front door and hollered at her....and she came flying up on the porch and up on me....I'm not really fond of animals....so, I'm not sure why I've taken such a liking to his little girl!!!   By the way....according to her "owner"....her name is Daisy Mae....don't ask!!!!

Another project I started....like my Daddy used to tell my Momma....you've got too many irons in the fire!!!

This is sorta a funny story.  When we went to Carver's there was a collection of these dolls in the restaurant.  Pappy wanted to buy this one, but they were for display only.  Ms. Brenda, a friend from church, found this one on e-bay and sent me the link....and when I showed it to Pappy....he immediately hit "buy it now"....and she was left by the mailman on our front porch yesterday.  She's going in my craft room!!!
A pic of the sky on our way home one evening.....gorgeous!!!

So....that's just a bit of our week....maybe when our stay-cation is over.... I can get some rest!!!
ha! ha!

Hope all of you have a great weekend!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
