Weekly Recap #39 - (Part 5) Habakkuk

Do y'all have trouble pronouncing "Habakkuk"?
I know that I do!!!

Here are a few facts about him.....

~~~His name means "embraced by God"
~~~He was poet and a prophet
~~~Habakkuk felt close enough to God to question His actions - just like we would a dear friend.
Isn't that how each of us should be?!?!?
Chapter 1 - He questioned God for sending the Babylonians to capture His Chosen People.
Chapter 2 - Described what the future was for Babylon because of all their evil against Israel.
Chapter 3 - Habakkuk's prayer, praising God's power to save.
Habakkuk 3:18
.....yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!!!
AMEN...and AMEN!!!
In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
  1. Thanks for all of these. Our pastor preached from Habakkuk in the summer of "09. He did a good job of explaining, but if I could only remember.
