Happy Birthday....and a give-a-way!!!

First of all, I want to wish a very Happy Birthday to my precious Pappy.  Today is his birthday....and it's also officially his last day of work, but since he gets his birthday off....with pay (Thank you, Lord)....we'll be spending the day together....along with CHRISTmas "vacation"!!!  I'm so thankful that he was able to work for almost 10 months after he found out the plant is moving.  Our GOD is awesome....and I know He has big plans in store for us!!!

Secondly....because it's December....and CHRISTmas is fast approaching....I have a little "thank you" gift for one of my followers.  Several years ago, my sweet sis-in-law got me a little book for CHRISTmas titled, "The Twelve Blessings of CHRISTmas".   It's chock full of gift ideas and poems and decorations and recipes.  A while back, I came across one at a new store that's opened up in our neck of the woods and knew immediately that I wanted to offer it to one of you!!!
Here are a few glimpses.....

It's such a sweet book and even our GRANDsons love for me to read it to them....
for some odd reason, they even like the recipes!!!

So....if you would like your very own copy....all you've gotta do is leave a comment.....and maybe share a CHRISTmas blessing of your own!!!

I'll let y'all know the the winner sometime next week!!

HOPE you have a great weekend.
Sweet Reader!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

p.s....did you notice we now have CHRISTmas music?!?!?

  1. It's hard to believe December is here. I love the photo of your Pappy! So cute.

Thank you for a chance to win the book. I have one for Thanksgiving that looks similar...not sure if it's the same author, as I already packed it away.

    God bless your day!

  8. Hello Deb, that really is a cute picture of Pappy, Hope he had a great Bday. The Lord blessed me with a wonderful family, and we all live in the same town. It's so wonderful to have them all near. During our family gathering at Christmas we always remember the reason for the season, Jesus Christ, the true Joy to the world. The little book looks like a great treasure...

  10. I noticed the Christmas music yesterday when I visited. Thank you for that.

Pappy looks so ornery. Wondering what he was 'thinking up' in this picture.

    Love your blog.
