Wednesday's Word - Truth

I'm not upset that you lied to me,
I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you.
~Friedrich Nietzsche~

Zechariah 8:16
But this is what you must do:
Tell the truth to each other.
Render verdicts in your courts that are just and that lead to peace.

Ephesians 4:25
So stop telling lies.
Let us tell our neighbors the truth,
for we are all parts of the same body.

I John 1:8
If we claim to be without sin,
we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

In HIS Most Precious Lve....and with mine, too!!!

Blessings,
Deb

  3. Deb I do love that verse. It's so hard to be transparent with people.. and just speak the truth when it's uncomfortable. I know I struggle most when I have to admit a fault or sometimes when I don't want to disappoint someone. But the truth will set us free! When we are honest with others.. about our faults and if asked.. with them too.. then there is true healing and restoration.. and transformation. Thanks for the reminder. :)
