Wednesday's Word - He Knows My Name.....

I couldn't decide on a single word today because I really wanted to talk a little about how God knows us personally.  It just never ceases to amaze me how He answers prayers and walks and "talks" with us.....
how He plants His Holy Spirit in us after He prompts us to come to Him in repentance and belief and how that same Holy Spirit is there ALL.THE.TIME to guide us!!!  Oh, how that makes my heart just want to sing and lift my hands in worship to the One and Only Lord of Lords and King of Kings.....
my Savior and my Redeemer!!!

A friend shared an experience she had recently where she felt the SONday morning message was for a situation she's in on her job.....
then, the very next day she was led to a devotional about the same topic!
And, while researching the lyrics of this song,
part of it just jumped off the page and I had to send them to her because it was totally along the same train of thought!

Another blogging friend posted how there was something so simple that she wanted.....
a little black and white cow.....
and God planted it right in front of her!

Isn't that just like our precious Heavenly Father to want to give us the desires of our heart.....
even the "little" things.....
like maybe a black denim skirt....;-)

I've heard this song several times lately and it just speaks to me deep down in my soul.....
that HE knows MY name....
ME, of all people!!!

Isaiah 49:16
See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.

"He calls me chosen
Free, forgiven
Wanted, child of the King
His forever
Held and treasured
I am loved"

Breathing in Grace,

  1. I'm so glad you didn't do a single word today, my sweet friend! He loves us in so many ways...so many personal ways that we can have no doubt but to KNOW that He is saying, "here is this...just to show you how much I love you."....when He's already given us life, and hope through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Hugs to you, Deb

Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
