{ Wednesday's Words - Joy and Delight }

There's this lady and for as long as I've known her, she's had a very "happy" attitude.  It seems that no matter what she's going through, she's always able to still keep a smile on her face and find little things in life to make her happy.  Actually, now that I think about it, I know two ladies like this, it's a fact that there are things they are both going through that are hurtful and sad and can be depressing, but they still seem to be able to maintain their "sunny disposition".  I've decided that what I'm actually seeing in these ladies isn't happiness.....
it's JOY.
Their JOY comes from their DELIGHT in the Lord!

Oh, the lessons I can learn from them both!

HOPE we're each able to find joy and delight in something today!
(mine is gonna be the blessing of spending time with our grand-kiddos!!!)

Breathing in Grace,

  1. I know a few who are like that...and I agree...it is Joy. I wish I could always have a sunny disaposition (sp?), sigh...but God makes us unique and special in our own ways, dear friend. Have a beautiful day with the grandkids...back to classes for me. Blessings

  3. Joy is SO important!! We can't let anything or anyone steal our joy from us. Look for joy and happiness in your life. It's always there.

  5. Psalm 37 is kind of like an infinity mirror... ;-) If you delight yourself in the Lord, He will be the desire of your heart.

  7. Joy is something that it hard to find at times of trials. I totally believe in looking past the pain to see a bright future. Some days, it is the only thing that can keep you going. There is so much joy to be found in life and I love this post. It is very uplifting.
