{ Monday Morning Cup-of-Joe }

Not a lot going on here in our neck of the woods.....
except it's COLD!
Brrrr....17 degrees earlier this morning.
At least I see sunshine.....
makes me sooooo happy!
Hey, isn't that a song?!?!?
LOL!

Just wanted to share these pictures of coffee mugs we saw at Cracker Barrel, and ask......

Who do you share your morning cup of coffee with?

Since Pappy doesn't drink coffee.....
and I don't have mine until after he leaves for work.....
I'm an alone coffee drinker.

Well, I do usually have my coffee during my morning devotions.

So, does that mean I share it with Jesus?!?!
;-)

HOPE y'all have a Marvelous Monday.....
stay warm and safe and happy!

(definition and origin of cup of joe)
 A cup of coffee.
The term originates from former U.S. Navy Secretary Josephus Daniels; when Daniels banned alcohol from Navy vessels, soldiers instead drank coffee and grudgingly came up with the term.

  1. Good Morning Deb! I'm just now having my first cup-of-joe, I am so lazy this morning. Mr D and I are big coffee drinkers and we've shared many cups together. With that said....because I drink coffee through out the day I've also shared many cups with Jesus. What a happy thought. Isn't Cracker Barrel awesome? One of my favorite places, the food is great, (especially their dumplins) and the general store...oh, oh, oh how I love it. Loved the coffee mugs, so glad you shared. May God bless you and keep you on this beautiful day! ((hugs))

  2. I'm just now getting around to the blogs...we had to go to the store---expecting a winter storm to roll in--it is 1*!!!!! 1--as in ONE. (giggling)---anyways---coffee....usually just me, sometimes hubby---but I am usually up before he is. AND YES, I would say your having coffee with Jesus. Many Happy Monday Blessings to you sweet friend.

  4. Yes, indeed, I think you can say you have your morning coffee with Jesus!! I don't have my first cup until I get to work, and I am usually the first one here (other than our security guard) so I drink mine alone...but with Facebook and Blogger to get my day going. I get in an hour before the official start time so I'm not taking away from my work.

  5. Hi, Deb. My cup of coffee is usually by myself when I check my email in the morning. Later on, when I have devotions, it may be tea or sometimes, just water. Love Cracker Barrel. I echo Mary's comment. Love their chicken and dumplings.

In answer to your comment - I haven't noticed any difference in follower count. You mentioned in another comment that you hadn't gotten any notice. I didn't get one either. I found this out from another blog. I've been tempted to take down my followers too and just be done with it. I have a list of blogs I follow in my "sweet friends" on my side bar. If I get a visitor who found me from another blog, I add them to my blog list if I want to continue to follow them. I think I'll just wait it out and see what happens. However it works out, I have the email alternative on my side bar just like you have so we've got it covered. I've read of some who are considering switching to word press or some other blogging platform. I find blogger the easiest to work with, especially when changing things around so I won't do that. Have a great day and stay warm. It was 38 degrees here this morning!

  6. My morning routine goes: get up, fix a cup of coffee, sit down with my Bible and journal. And I always say I'm having coffee with Jesus! 😁
