{ SONday Scripture }

I love it when God gives me a scripture in the middle of the night and He's been doing that a lot lately, because He knows my heart and knows I NEED extra encouragement right now.  I so try to give it to others, but often feel when it's my turn I'm just stuck in a corner by myself.

But God.....
He knows and comes running to pick me up and give me HOPE!

Are you struggling with something?
Are you, like me, allowing Satan to steal your joy and plant false ideas in your head?

Well, today is a new day and a new attitude and I'm saying OUT LOUD.....

GET THEE  BEHIND ME, SATAN!

God's Got This!

He's in control, not you.

I'm the one giving Satan the power and I'm taking it back and declaring that I'll put my trust in the Lord because He never will let me go.  I'm the one who turns loose of His promises!

HOPE each of you has an awesomely blessed SONday!

  1. I'm like you right now, struggling with issues and sometimes I just feel exhausted emotionally with the fight. We do have authority over Satan in Jesus' name but sometimes I just let him run over me. Good for you and your new attitude! These difficulties do not have to let them get us down. Have a blessed day, my friend.

  5. You know he is constantly trying to steal our joy, but praise the Lord, we have a wonderful God who speaks to us in the night and brings us strength to fight off those fiery darts! I love the graphic with the scripture.

  6. Don't let Satan get a toe-hold...he'll try to steal the whole foot, leg, and body! Yes, we need to stay focused on God's promises and His ever-present love, mercy and grace. He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us. He has proven that to me over and over and over again...especially this past weekend with Hurricane Matthew. Our God is an awesome God, and we are so blessed. Thank you for sharing these honest thoughts and encouraging words from God's Word. Praying for you today!

  7. Victory in Jesus!! Our hope is in Him!! God takes care of His children...sometimes in our weakness we rebel, not because we intend too, our heart knows God is there for us....it's our mind that we have to wrestled with. Everything is going to be all right my friend. Why does He send these encouraging scriptures at night, because your mind is asleep and your heart is still beating, ready to receive His message to you.
