{ Wednesday's Words - The Heart }

The Heart;
     center of one's being, an image for a person's thought life, reflections, and will; 
     reveals a person's commitment and direction in life

Negatives:
cunning - scheming - deceptive - hypocritical - 
lacking integrity - greedy - jealous - arrogant -
 callous - stubborn - only committed to themselves

Positives:
openly confesses sorrow, trouble, anguish, despair - 
thru pain their hearts grow -
pray intensely - long for God - trust - contented -
 open for God's examination - committed (to God) - 
doesn't waver - pure - strong - confident - 
vital - joyful - full of praise

(part of this research was taken from the NLT Study Bible - 2nd edition; the scriptures were some that spoke to my heart and I felt went along with the examples; the last little "sign" is a verse I read  earlier this morning and then it popped up in my images as a reminder to keep this one close to my "heart" as I pray about a certain situation)

  3. I LOVE these thoughts today about The Heart! I like also what Mary H. said above..."Create in me a clean heart, O God." I think of that verse often. Only God can cleanse the heart and make it new again...so thankful that He is willing and able to do this!! Wonderful post today. Thank you.
