{ Wednesday's Word - Smile }

Smile

a pleased, kind, or amused facial expression, typically with the corners of the mouth turned up and the front teeth exposed.

When God speaks to our hearts about a certain thing He's doing it always for our own good.....
although we might not see it at the time!
Without going into the "why's" of what He's working on me currently, let's just say it's done wonders for my attitude (which obviously needed some help)!

He's telling me to just SMILE!

When I feel like I'm gonna cry.....
SMILE!

When things aren't going "my way".....
SMILE!

When those same old fears come rising up in my chest.....
SMILE!

Am I the only one who wakes up in the wee hours of the morning with something pressing on my mind?  For the last few weeks if that happens and whatever the current worry might be pops into my mind, I immediately start smiling! Now, I know that probably sounds completely like a crazy woman talking, but it works.....
and I actually smile without exposing my teeth!
(see definition above)

  1. Awe,,,,smile. Yes Smile. I couldn't help Deb but smile and laugh and I smile with teeth exposed, probably too much (hee-hee) but here lately I have felt I have had to SMILE a lot! Been in several situations that all I could do was smile because if the facial expression I was feeling showed!!!! Oh no! It would not have been pretty. So....until that situation is out of my sight and off of my plate...I WILL SMILE! Right now though I am smiling at how much I love you friend.
    Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  5. "When you're smiling, when you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you!" That is so true...people can't resist a smiling face...and you have made me smile so much lately with your "punnies" on FAcebook. Thank you...sometimes I just burst out laughing and my hubby wants to know what's so funny. You make me smile...so keep on smiling...and the whole world smiles with you...and God loves a merry heart!! Even when we don't feel like it...it helps...
