{ Monday Motivation }

I had four different ladies share their hearts with me last week, each one struggling with an issue in their life that's overwhelming them right now. I came across the above quote and as I read through the lines I saw my friend's faces and the difficulties they're facing in each word. Maybe the entire thing doesn't fully apply to their situation, but if they're reading this, I want them to focus on these words.....

"Don't you dare doubt your worth or the beauty of your truth"

As women, we so often base our self-worth on what others think about us and I'm right there with you, my sweet Friends, because I've sought my own self-worth through someone else.  Satan will do his best to convince us that we're not good enough, pretty enough, strong enough, a good enough friend, wife, daughter, sister and he'll use whatever means he can to make us doubt ourselves.  As Christian ladies, we need to place our focus on how our precious Jesus sees us. That's something that we know in our heads, but it's often difficult to get our hearts to understand, even for us older women.

  2. Love this post Deb. Oh Satan is a liar and a thief! If he convince us that we are worthless he is such a happy camper! Our worth is in Christ and Him alone. Debbie, got to You tube and google lauren daigle's latest song, "you say". OH MY, OH MY! Get ready to praise your Jesus at what HE SAYS! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  4. Oh, thank you, Deb! This is so appropriate right now (and always). We just always tend to think we aren't quite good enough, spiritual enough, talented enough...but God says that He is enough for us always, and that is what matters most. Because of Christ, we are ENOUGH through Him. So thankful for His love and mercy and grace. This was wonderful.

  5. You're so right Debbie, I find myself asking a lot what others think, I do in Christ I am good enough and His grace is enough. You're right we sell ourselves short at times. Keep looking to Jesus for our strength and approval.
