Prayerful Thursday

Seems like it's been weeks since we've had a list of prayer requests for Thursday.

Here are some that I've heard about this week:
1. Richard Leroy Gibson
This little boy goes to Northview Elementary School and his family found out on December 30th that he has leukemia. Click here to find out more about what is going on with this little guy, and please keep him and his family and his doctors in your prayers.
(You will probably have to set up an account with Care Pages to access his Care Page)
2. Hunter
This little boy is almost 2 years old and he has been in the hospital twice since Christmas. I don't know the details, but please pray for him and his family.
3. Barbara Gibson
This lady is a school teacher in Sevier County. She was in a car wreck a few weeks back and had surgery yesterday and is in a lot of pain. They had to put drains in her head and she is having blood clots. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
4. Lloyd Heath
We found out at church that Lloyd came to church, but then had to leave due to a migraine. He has these quite often (and I know how those feel because I have them, too). Lloyd has had so many problems during the past 6 months. Please keep him and Ms. Bonnie in your prayers.
5. John Geisel
This gentleman has a heart problem and needs our prayers.
6. Jack Denton
The person requesting prayer for Mr. Denton didn't specify what the problem is, but God knows. Please say a special prayer for him.
7. Please say a prayer for all those facing possible...or definite....layoffs from their jobs....or a permanent job loss. Seems like every day we're hearing more and more plants closing, or laying off workers. The price of gasoline is on the rise again. Our economy is worse than I can remember it being in my lifetime. Let's all agree to pray for this situation. As all of you know, I did not vote for Obama, but my prayer is that once he gets in office, that things will settle down and our economy will get better.
8. This one is a praise for Ms. Marenda's uncle who came thru his surgery and is doing well.
If any of you know of somebody else, or another situation, that needs prayer, please e-mail me, or leave me a comment!
In His Love...and with mine!!!
