Updates!!!

Here are a few updates.....

My brother....
....we went to see him after church SONday afternoon.  It broke my heart, even though I couldn't actually see the burns, except on his face.  He's healing, but did receive 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his lower legs.  He goes back to Vanderbilt in another week.  Please pray for continued healing and that the worse place will heal and not require surgery.

My Mom....
....she is going for an EGD to determine if the bleeding is coming from her tummy.  She's very anemic and was taken off her blood thinner, as it was explained to me....her anemia outweighs the risk of a blood clot.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, as she continues to battle health issues and that the doctors can determine the cause of her anemia and get it under control!!!

Me....
....in regard to my bee stings, the swelling has subsided....but not the itching!
I told Pappy that I'm very concerned that if I should ever get stung again....well, I told him that I really think I need to be taken to the ER!!!   A friend told me that with each time she got stung, the reaction got worse, until the last time she wasn't able to breathe!!!
OUCH!!

Thanks to all of you who have prayed for me and my family!!!
I so appreciate all your concern shown me on Facebook, thru private e-mails, and the comments you've left here on my blog!!!

II Corinthians 1:11
And you are helping us by praying for us.
Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Vanderbilt is a great place (if you have to be in the hospital). Praying that he will heal soon.

  2. Prayers continued for you all. Debbie, go on to the Dr. and get one of those shot thingys so if this happens again you will have that handy. My oldest daughter is very allergic to stings and has to carry that with her at all times! I am not playing girl....that could be dangerous! Besides, you ain't got time to be sick.....LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
