{ You poked my heart }

I know many of you have already seen this on Facebook but for those who haven't, I just had to share. Here are a few things that stood out to me.....

How sensitive this little boy is.....
notice how he puts up his little hands to cradle the girl who is being somewhat of a bully to him.

Look how sweet the little girl in the middle is trying to be a peacemaker.
She is so sensitive to the boy's feelings.

And, I just want to jump right in there and give him a big hug because I know how it feels to be "poked in the heart".

Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God.

Ephesians 4:31-32
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.  Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Be kind to one another.....
let's be really careful with our words and actions so as not to hurt each other's hearts.

  1. Oh boy...I have to fix my makeup the second time now...thanks to you and Mari (her video was just as awesome)---bullies don't get anywhere in life and they do start young, don't they? Have a beautiful day friend.

  4. Cute. We've all had our hearts poked from time to time and it can leave scars if we aren't careful.
Being kind to people is highly under-rated!
Hope you are having a lovely evening.

  5. Oh that was so sweet and precious. What a classic example of how we learn to treat and care for one another from tiny childhood and beyond. We must always be careful not to poke too hard and poke a heart...and when we do...we need to be ready to say we are sorry. wow...what a tender story from so many angles. Thank you for sharing this.

Kind words are like honey—
sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.
