As y'all know "HOPE" is my favorite word in the entire Webster's Dictionary and it goes hand-in-hand with whatever word God gives me for the new year. (MORE HOPE) I'm not sure when my love of that word started, but I know that one of my favorite old hymns is "Whispering HOPE".  My Dad passed away December 4, 1994 and the following Sunday morning in church that song was sang and I knew God was whispering His HOPE into my broken heart.
There's just something about starting a brand new year that also brings a new mindset.  I told somebody that I wish I could maintain the same way of thinking all year long that I have the first week of January! I used the words "renewal of our HOPE" in my post on SONday and then I came across this little sign on Instagram.  My prayer is that I wake up each and every day of 2017 with a renewed HOPE in my heart and a spring in my step......
although my steps aren't as springy as they once were.....LOL!

  2. Happy New Year, Deb! As you already know well, "hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." Romans 5:5. ♥

  3. Reading here this morning, Ms. Debbie, reminded me of 1 Corinthians 13:13 and the fact that HOPE is listed along with faith and love as the three attributes that abide in/with us. We would be a people most miserable without HOPE, yes? May we remember when things look bleak that truly we do have HOPE! Hugs

  5. When our HOPES are centered in Christ, He will always give us MORE reasons to love, to believe and to continue on in hope. I also love the song "Whispering Hope"..."soft as the voice of an angel"...God whispers His lessons of love to us...and gives us great hope.
