{ SONday Morning Song - Leave It There }

A couple of quotes I jotted down in my notes during my devotional time this week.....

"There is anxiety and stress in striving to carry my own burdens.
There is peace and rest in loving Him and laying all my heavy burdens at His feet."
~~~Journey Devotional, February 2, 2017~~~
"A 'living sacrifice' can crawl off the altar -
so I might have to re-surrender my life many times a day -
it has to be a daily habit."
~~~ The Purpose Driven Life ~~~

And, this old hymn came to mind.....

  1. I like the words you wrote in your journal, quotes and scriptures that blessed you. And such a fitting hymn from sweet Rory and Joey,I can still hardly believe she is gone, but she is healed completely in heaven, just as she sung. We can indeed take our burdens to the Lord and leave them there. He knows best. A beautiful thought shared today, may the sweet presence of the Lord be with you today my friend!

  7. Your notes touched my heart and so did the song. It was touching and sad to see Joey, she loved the Lord so much, and now she's singing in His heavenly choir.
