It's been such a rainy and gloomy week, not very good weather for taking fotos, 
so this is the only one I have to share with Y'all today. 
Isn't it just so perfect though?

(this church is near us and the Pastor's Mom is a special friend - 

she and I used to go to the same church and I loved to hear her sing)

Another thing that's added to the gloom this week was our kiddos being on vacation. It's been over a week since I've seen them which meant no hugs and kisses, but that changes today. All four are spending the night with us and tomorrow we celebrate their Momma's birthday!

Seems like most every week I'm afraid I won't have enough, if any, fotos to share.  Then, when I start sending them to the computer from my cell phone there's always more than I thought!

Working outside early one morning I spotted this spider web.....

This old schoolhouse is near us and I've always wondered what it looked like.  So grateful no cars were coming so I could stop in the middle of the road to take a pic since the owner had the land cleared from around it.

Loved this church sign.....

Crocheted up some slices of watermelon and made a little summer banner for the china cabinet.....

My obsession.....

And, a few flowers blooming in the yard.....

{ Friday Foto Friends #47 }

Friday rolls around so fast to me but I bet those who work outside the home and school kiddos (and teachers) would beg to differ!

I didn't get a lot of pics this week and these were taken with my cell phone, so they're not the best quality.

This is a church I pass almost weekly on my way through Rocky Valley.  If you've followed me here very long, you know how much I adore that area.

The moon in the sky right smack dab in the middle of the day.....

This one is a little blurry, but it was snapped from the car while sitting at a red light.

Are you having cooler temps where you live?

It was cloudy and kinda chilly all day yesterday. 

One of our local meteorologists called it the "autumnal chill".   

I'll take it because this summer's heat about done me in.   I even dug out sweat pants, socks, lace-up shoes and a long-sleeved tee shirt!

I ♥ this time of year!

Thanks to everybody who is faithful to link-up each week.  I'm sorry I don't get around to visiting until sometimes on Saturday.  We'll have all four grand-kiddos this afternoon/evening, so is that a good excuse?

Don't y'all just love church signs?

Me, too!!!

I received the following in an e-mail from Mountain Wings . Isn't it kinda neat how certain things speak to us according to what we've been, or are going thru when we read them?  I've high-lighted a few that really spoke to my heart....maybe 'cause of situations/circumstances in my own life!!!

 There are so many things going on in our lives that have a tendency to get us down sometimes....so....just for the next couple of minutes....look at these church signs....
