A Baby Owl....Hat!!!

I crocheted this hat for Baby Cohen, our neighbor's brand new baby boy!!!  I know it's gonna be too big for his precious little head, but maybe he can wear it next winter!!!

Owl owlways remember....

.....where I got this....

I took Mom to get her coumadin checked yesterday and as we peeped thru the double doors to the hospital lobby, we saw several tables set up with jewelry.  There were lots of little owlie things, but this one really caught my eye.  As I took it down from it's little perch, my Mom asked if she could buy it for me.  I told her the only reason I was saying "yes" was so that I would always remember that it came from her.  I put the earrings in as soon as we got back to the car and....they even matched the jacket I had on!!!
