Friday Foto.....

I'm running behind again today.
Yesterday was spent trying to play catch-up.
Being without power for over 25 hours kinda put a hold on getting things accomplished!  And, for some reason the cleaning and laundry fairy thought they could just take a break, too.....
LOL!

This car was in front of us going thru the drive-thru at Chick-Fil-A recently.....
doesn't that just sum it all up!!

Keep calm.....
and carry on.....
'cause God's got THIS!!
(whatever our THIS might be!)

We're expecting another round of snow and ice this evening and tomorrow,
to be followed by rising temps and rain.
I do believe we live in EAST TENNESSEE....;-)
(saying a prayer that everybody's power stays on)

HOPE y'all have an awesome weekend....
stay safe and warm!!

Breathing in Grace,

  2. I can so see this car being at Chick-Fil-A! My grandson and granddaughter work at the one in Lenoir City. Will be praying that the weather doesn't turn out too bad and that you don't lose power again. Thinking of my word for this year - trust and the popular slogan going around as well as this car window, I'd have to say - "Stay Calm and Trust On! Have a wonderful day.

  3. I'm sorry to hear that you guys lost power that long, especially in these freezing temperatures. I'm glad it's back on now and I hope it stays that way through the next snow storm. I got a kick out of that car. That was pretty cool. I hope you have a nice weekend, too... :)

  4. Oh Deb, I'm so sorry to learn that you have been without power. That is not fun. A few years ago when Hurricane Sandy went through we were without power for 7 days. We have a wood burner, so I was still able to have hot water and able to heat up/cook food on the wood stove, and I was able to stay warm. Made me think a lot about those who have gone before us and all they went through. Hugs to you...hope you don't end up with more snow, ice...and especially that you don't lose power again. xo
