{ Friday Foto Friends #45 }

Can you believe we're 45 weeks into our Friday Foto Friends?
Thank you, sweet Ladies, for sticking with me for almost a year.

Wowsers!!!

If I've figured correctly, we'll hit 52 weeks on Friday, November 4th.  Let's have a party on that day, okay?  Be thinking about how you want to celebrate and what each of us can bring! Of course it'll be an online celebration, but hey, any reason to have a party and eat cake, right?  And, there's gotta be a present.  So, I'm figuring there'll have to be a give-a-way!!!
YIPPEE!
I'm excited, how about you?

Here are my photos for today!

You know I've told y'all how much I love the grocery store, Aldi?  Well, there's another one that is a really close second,  if not a tie.  It's UGO, or United Grocery Outlet.  They have some awesome prices.  On a recent trip, Pappy bought me a little rose bush because it reminded us both of roses he used to send me called "peace".  These days, I'd rather have flowers that will last.  Although it's nice to be thought of occasionally "just because".

Luke 12:27
Look at the lilies and how they grow.
They don’t work or make their clothing,
yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.

This is a picture that Pappy took of a tree he saw one day at work.
Isn't it odd and fun and funny?

Psalm 148:7, 9, 13
Praise the Lord from the earth.....
fruit trees and all cedars.....
Let them all praise the name of the Lord.
For His Name is very great!

And, what would Friday be without a sky picture?
Jess took this one from their house one evening this week.

Did y'all notice what looks like a cross in the very center?

Psalm 148:3
Praise Him, sun and moon.
Praise Him, all you twinkling stars.

We're expecting some much needed rain this weekend.....
and cooler temps.
I'm seeing fall on the horizon, Friends and welcoming it with open arms!

HOPE everybody has an awesome weekend!

  8. Wishing you an awesome weekend too!! Love the photos and that is a very weird tree! The roses are just lovely and I appreciate them much more when they are growing outside rather than cut and in a vase inside. Happy Friday!

  10. Your roses are beautiful! I love roses and was just sick about the disease that hit them last year. Your cover photo is stunning and so is the pic Jess took. All of them reflecting the glory and beauty of God's creation.

  11. Beautiful! The roses are so pretty. Yellow roses as well as pink are so delicate looking. That tree is so funny. Yes, we have to celebrate for the 52nd. In answer to your comment on my blog - yes - yes - yes - we have to get together when I come up! My younger son Mike says he goes through Strawberry Plains sometimes on his route and says it is a pretty area. I actually have it tucked away in my mind as a place to move to, along with Maryville. Have a blessed weekend.
