{ Friday Foto Friends #101 }

I don't have many fotos to share today and what I do have is a hodge-podge, so here goes.....

I ♥ all the sweet words on them.....

Sitting in the swing on the front porch and just happened to notice that the mums match the flag,

which was totally unintentional.

Gorgeous fall-colored flowers from Aldi that I purchased just for me!

Standing on Mom's back porch one evening and I loved how the sun was shining through the leaves on this dogwood tree that's beginning to change to it's fall colors!

And, that's it!

Maybe soon we'll be able to take that trip to Carver's and I can get some REAL fotos.

{ Friday Foto Friends #98 }

First of all, I want to apologize for not visiting much this week, but I've been busy trying to get some much needed painting done. Maybe taking a break might be something I need to do more often, although it wasn't intentional. Marking things off a to-do list feels so good!!!

We don't have a good view of sunrises and sunsets at our house, but I managed to catch this one evening.....

I just loved the look of coming out of the shadows into the light on this back road we took to our daughter's house.....

This is my accidental shadow pic.  I have no idea what/how/why, it just mysteriously showed up in the gallery on my phone and for some reason I like it!

And, last but absolutely not least, I want to wish our sweet girl a very happy birthday. She's truly one of my greatest blessings!
